S2E01 #40 - Seven Were Trapped 
Departing for a crop dusting job, Chuck and P.T. hear a radio report about a mine cave-in. They decide to fly to the area to see if they can be of assistance. A second cave-in occurs and Chuck and P.T. are now the only ones who can help the trapped victims: all access to the rescue route has been cut off except one approachable by helicopter! The pilots are in constant danger, though, since more cave-ins could happen at any time.

S2E03 #42 - Hit And Run
Chuck and P.T. witness a hit-and-run accident. The police are notified and the pilots transport the victim to the hospital, where the victim later dies. The car is towed, with the help of the Bell 47, out of a ditch to await pick-up by the police. But the car vanishes before the police arrive --- later to be seen in the possession of a young man who claims he bought the car the morning after the hit-and-run! The used car dealer, however, claims that the car was sold the morning before the accident and produces a bill of sale to prove it. Chuck and P.T. must discover who is lying and track down the hit-and-run driver.

Chuck and P.T. must fly a doctor to meet up with another M.D., who is trying to treat an illegal Mexican immigrant suffering from dangerous, plague-like disease. The victim is very contagious and anyone in contact with him is at risk. Fearing deportation, the patient tries to flee with his wife to Los Angeles. With the clock ticking, it is up to the Whirlybirds to find the runaway.

S2E06 #45 - Search For An Unknown Man
Chuck and P.T. are contacted by a prospector and arrange to fly him out of a mining town. On arrival the pilots are greeted by unfriendly locals, who claim that no such mining prospector exists. Chuck and P.T. are advised by the town ruffians to get back in their Bell and disappear, a warning repeated by the sheriff as well. Only one person offers assistance --- a beautiful young woman.

Chuck and P.T. fly a young Mexican feather-weight contender from his training camp to town for a fight. He is favored to win. A blonde woman, apparently the widow of the Mexican's last opponent, turns up. She claims the Mexican is a killer and blames him for the death of her husband. Guilt-ridden and grieving, the young contender is unable to focus on the upcoming fight, now just minutes away. Chuck and P.T. put on detective caps and check out the young woman's story.

S2E09 #48 - Mister Q
Chuck and P.T. witness a young boy being thrown from his horse when it stumbles. They land to help the boy when they realize the horse can't get up again. The pilots get the boy's father and a vet who determine that the horse, named "Mister Q," has a broken leg and will have to be destroyed. The boy becomes upset and runs away. Later Chuck finds out that the horse hasn't been put down and also comes upon some additional, more disquieting, news. The pilots try to uphold their promise to the boy that everything will, in the end, turn out fine.

S2E10 #49 - Seven Orchids
P.T. receives a mysterious package containing seven orchids and half of a five-hundred-dollar bill. The telephone number for the address on the package has been disconnected, so Chuck and P.T. copter out to the address to see what is going on. Landing, they find a woman injured in a greenhouse where the orchids had been grown. The pilots get the sheriff and return to the scene with him, but the woman has disappeared along with any evidence of the previous trouble in the greenhouse! More puzzling incidents occur and the Whirlybirds find themselves ensnarled in an attempted murder.

S2E11 #50 - Father And Son
Chuck and P.T. are hired by a man to fly him and his son, who is suffering from leukemia, to the Grand Canyon and then to a football game. But the pilots soon learn that the father is the head of a crime syndicate and is wanted by police, who have been conducting ground searches for him. The pilots want to turn the man in, but are forced at gunpoint to continue with the father's plans for the day. The itinerary abruptly changes when the young boy becomes sick and needs immediate emergency treatment.

S2E12 #51 - Time Out Of Mind

Just after Whirlybirds, Inc. takes delivery of their brand new Bell 47J Ranger helicopter, a man, suffering from amnesia,
sneaks into the chopper and takes it for an unscheduled and unauthorized flight. When Chuck and P.T. finally chase the miscreant down, the fellow claims he "borrowed" their chopper because he thought that he may be a pilot, hoping the flight would help him regain his memory. A photojournalist becomes intrigued with the fellow's story and begins to uncover clues for him. But when the reporter starts to look into the fantastic tale, clues begin to point to the possibility of an unsavory past ... and murder.

Chuck and P.T. are hired by a man to take him to a small Mexican village during the night. Once every ten years this village celebrates the "Day of Miracles" and this man wishes to repay the village a long-standing debt by staging a miracle. The "miracle" happens, but while returning home the man asks the pilots to turn him into the police for embezzling the money which was involved. The Whirlybirds agree, but not before making up their minds that they'll find some way to help their client.

S2E15 #54 An Apple For The Teacher 

Chuck and P.T. are hired by Chuck's former high school teacher, Miss Churchill, to fly her to a resort. Afterwards, Chuck realizes that the first day of Miss Churchill's vacation was also the first day back to school! They investigate and learn that no one by her name has registered or been seen at the resort. Checking further, the pilots discover that Chuck's former teacher, now growing older, has been assigned less significant teaching duties. Chuck fears this has had a great effect on Miss Churchill, so the Whirlybirds set out to help her.

Jessie Johns is a top Hollywood movie star who hires Chuck and P.T. to take her to see her ex-husband at the bank he works at. She demands to have him turn over their daughter Sue, whom she has legal custody of. He reluctantly agrees to do so later that day only when she arrives she finds that he and his new wife, Jean, have fled with the girl and apparently some of the bank funds. Not only that, they are trying to get away on a back mountain road that is scheduled for demolition at any moment. Chuck, P.T. and Jessie take to the skies to try and intercept the car before it's covered with rocks.
