Photo Gallery
Here you'll find a photo gallery of publicity shots, private photos shot
on locations, some behind the scenes pictures and other photos of the
Bell 47 helicopter, then and today.
Bell 47G mock-up in Desilu Studios for flying closeups. Notice short "rotor blades" connected
to an electric motor rather than a gas powered engine. Also notice the cutaway of the plexiglass
bubble that gave the camera a clearer picture.
When the Bell 47J Ranger came out, the Whirlybirds show was one of the first to get it.
Bell Helicopters supplied it through National Helicopter Service.
